Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Leak Guard by CanaryDetect provides 24/7 water monitoring services for properties in Lanzarote. Our service includes installation of monitoring equipment, continuous usage monitoring, and alert notifications.

2. Subscription Terms

• Installation fee of €395 includes 12 months of monitoring
• After the first year, the annual subscription is €60 plus IGIC, paid annually
• Installation fees are non-refundable once service begins
• Subscription includes monitoring, alerts, and urgent site visits when abnormal usage is detected
• Repair costs are not included in the subscription

3. Equipment

Monitoring equipment remains the property of CanaryDetect. Upon cancellation, equipment must be returned or made available for collection. Damage to equipment due to negligence may result in replacement charges.

4. Limitations of Liability

While Leak Guard is designed to detect water usage anomalies, we cannot guarantee detection of all leaks. CanaryDetect is not liable for water damage that occurs despite monitoring. Our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid.

5. Property Access

By subscribing, you grant CanaryDetect permission to access your property for installation, maintenance, and leak investigation as part of the service.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Las Palmas, Spain.
