Does it need WiFi?
No. The device uses its own cellular network connection. Your property's internet setup is completely irrelevant.
Does it need mains power?
No. The device runs on an internal power supply. It works whether your property is occupied, empty, or has no active power connection.
Will it affect my water pressure or supply?
No. The monitoring device sits on a secondary meter and is read-only. It does not restrict, divert, or interfere with your water supply in any way.
What triggers an alert?
Unusually high overnight consumption is the primary trigger. The threshold is set based on your property's normal patterns. Any sustained flow that doesn't fit your profile will also flag.
How do I access the dashboard?
The live dashboard is a Plus feature. On Plus you reach it at leakguard-manager.com on any device (phone, tablet or computer), using the login you get once the system is activated after install. Basic covers 24/7 monitoring and alerts by phone, email and WhatsApp, without the dashboard.
Can I see the data history?
Historical usage charts are part of Plus. On Plus, all your usage data is stored and you can look back at any day, week or month and compare periods. Basic gives you the live alerts; Plus adds the dashboard and the full history.
